Svezia, un’ottima prestazione di Maddaloni apre le porte dei quarti all’Azzurro

Al termine di un match combattuto ed emozionante, l’Azzurro Rosario Maddaloni, ha conquistato con una grande prestazione un posto nei quarti di finale nel singolare maschile allo Swedish Open.

 

Maddaloni ha regolato in due set (21-18; 22-20) Rasmus Messershimdt e domani dovrà affrontare un altro danese per raggiungere le semifinali, Mads Christophersen.

 

E’ stato invece fermato al primo turno l’altro Azzurro impegnato nel torneo scandinavo, Fabio Caponio, che sulla sua strada ha trovato la testa di serie numero 7, l’Indiano Sahil Sipani che ha vinto in due set (21-14; 21-13).
