Malagò and Vezzali meet Bubka and Ukrainian Sports Minister at CONI

Italy-Ukraine sports-institutional meeting this morning at the Foro Italico. The President of the Italian National Olympic Committee, Giovanni Malagò, together with the Undersecretary of State with responsibility for Sport, Valentina Vezzali, welcomed the President of the Ukrainian Olympic Committee and fellow IOC member, Sergej Bubka, accompanied by the Minister of Youth and Sport of Ukraine, Vadym Guttsait (Olympic fencing champion in Barcelona 1992 in team sabre). Tomorrow at 12.30 p.m., President Malagò and President Bubka will be at the Olympic Preparation Centre 'Giulio Onesti' at Acqua Acetosa, welcomed by CONI Secretary General Carlo Mornati to meet a group of Ukrainian Taekwondo, Rowing and Fencing athletes. They are training in Italy, thanks to the solidarity intervention of the Italian Federations. A total of 20 national sports federations hosted the Ukrainian athletes to prepare for the upcoming international events.

Also, tomorrow, at two p.m., a meeting with the press is scheduled in the Aula Magna of the 'Giulio Onesti', in the presence of the Ukrainian delegation and the athletes.
