CONI: The Memorandum of Understanding with the Azurre Flame is renewed until 2017

The President of the CONI, Giovanni Malagò, and the Head of Department of the Penitentiary Police, Giovanni Tamburino, have renewed the agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Italian National Olympic Committee and the Azurre Flame until 2017. The Deputy General Secretary of the CONI, Carlo Mornati, and the Head of the Sport Group of the Azurre Flame, Marcello Gavino Tolu were also present at the signing of the agreement, which took place at the Foro Italico.
The dual understanding provides for the achievement of their institutional responsibilities, in the field of the sport activity, through specific programs aimed at the implementation of projects related to the Olympic cycle. The CONI and the Azurre Flame have reiterated their mutual commitment to the maintenance and promotion of high-level activity to increase the national sporting heritage.
