Four Italian golf players have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympics. Upon the expiry of the ranking set by the International Federation, Olympic passes went to Francesco Molinari and Nino Bertasio for the men and Giulia Molinaro and Giulia Sergas for the women. Golf is back as part of the Olympic programme in Brazil after more than a century.

278 Italian athletes have qualified for the Rio 2016 Games (145 men and 133 women) in 28 different sports, with 194 individual passes.
